  1. Thank you for letting me know about Jim’s book. His essays made me laugh, made me think, but mostly made me want to continue the conversation. Could you let me know about the community organizing workshops you are doing? I was particularly inspired by the idea of a neighborhood directory as a way to create community.

Hope you are well and that Listening Tree continues to flourish,

  2. Dear karina
I am very curious about what day to day lige on the co-op is like. I have been trying to convince my husband to do something like this for a few years now. I grew up with most of my family self sustaining on their on land from early ages we learned the value of planting, harvesting, hunting in an eco friendly way and also recycling and reusing to be as self reliant as possible. My husband is a city boy through and through and even though i have been showing him how to container garden for a couple years and learning about self reliant living with him ihav ent quite convinced him. I have been reading about your co op and i think it would be a great way to get our feet wet on this journey but i could use a little more information. I hope you wouldnt mind sharing some of your experience?
